Adding an Authorised Person to a Stroll customer account:
It is possible to add a nominated individual to a Stroll customer's account.
A nominated individual will be authorised to:
- Renew an existing policy
- Make changes to an existing policy
- Update contact details on a customer account
- Make payment
- Supply documentation
A nominated individual cannot:
- Complete a transferred new business
- Set up a new business policy
- Change direct debit details or change direct debit date
To add a nominated individual to a customer's account, you must:
- Speak to the policyholder and complete data protection checks with the policyholder
- Obtain the following details from the policyholder, relating to the nominated individual:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Relationship to policyholder
- Confirm with the policyholder what the nominated individual will and won't be able to action on the policy.
- Add the details of the individual to Zendesk
If a nominated individual contacts Stroll to discuss a customer's policy, you must:
- Confirm the nominated individuals name, date of birth and relationship to policyholder.
- Confirm the full name of the policyholder and the policyholder's postcode with the nominated individual.
