Web Purchases – Making Live
- Find the purchase quote on the web diary (Esc+O)
Purchase quote will have C beside it (e.g STR-85F12VZS0 252.18 252.18 C) and will usually correspond with a PC2. (Sometimes the purchase will correspond with a PC1 – it’s ok to make that one live if this is the case.)
- Go into Risk List and check the following Frames:
DC-will tell you what the client paid
QA – will tell you what the premium before and after discount is and what the discount is – note this down as you will need this for the ABBY Frame
AO – is only there if the client purchased add ons and will tell you what add ons they purchased – note this down as will need this for the ABBY Frame
BFH – will only be there if the client has paid via direct debit- good to know as then you will know the amount the client paid in the DC frame is the deposit amount
- Once you’ve checked the above, delete the following frames
NEGX
AO (if it’s there)
- Once you’ve done this, Make Live (make sure you’re making the correct quote live (usually PC2)
- Follow the steps on Ogi, make sure to note down the Policy Inception Date from the screen where it asks about vehicle mileage and proof of No Claims Bonus
- Accept Details – Yes
- When you get to the Yes Screens (Printing Props) make sure you delete the LASERF from the printer and leave it as SPQG:
- Then create your Abby Frame – Go to Process Frames – Create Transaction/Payment – Complete NON OWM Policy – input the Exec as WEB (since it’s a web purchase)- fill out your inception date, etc. In the premium box, put the premium before discount, then fill out the amount of discount – this should then match the Insurance premium the client got. Then add any Add Ons – Make sure the total amount matches the DC Frame (if client paid in full).
- The fill out your Abby frame Middle Screen – if client paid in full, put the total amount in (including add ons), if client paying direct debit, put the amount of deposit paid (from the DC Frame)
- Accept – policy now live
- Check the Agent portal and make sure policy is there. Set the follow up date to 7 days after the Inception date
- On Zendesk update the End User to ‘’customer’’ and input their Ogi ref and telephone number
