For just £15, our Replacement Car policy will provide you with a replacement car for up to 21 days if your vehicle has been involved in an at fault accident and has been written off. What is the Legal Expenses policy and what does it cover?
If you're ever in a position where you need to take legal action against a third party following an accident, the legal fees can soon run into thousands of pounds. Our Legal Expenses policy will cover your legal fees (up to £100,000 for Uninsured Losses and up to £25,000 for the Defence of Motoring Prosecutions) and costs just £15. There is also a 24/7 helpline for advice on any legal matter, not just in relation to an accident. What is the Roadside Assistance Platinum policy and what does it cover?
If you ever break down at the side of the road it can costs quite a bit to get rescued. For £30, our Roadside Assistance Platinum policy offers unlimited mileage recovery anywhere in Northern Ireland or the Republic or Ireland. There is also the benefit of free one hour’s labour at the roadside if the vehicle can be repaired on site. What is the SmartFob Keycare policy and what does it cover?
The cost of replacing car keys can be really expensive or even having to pay someone to come out if you’ve locked yourself out of your home can be a lot too. For £25, our SmartFob KeyCare policy provides up to £1,500 cover for you and any immediate member of your family, together with named drivers of the vehicle, for any insured keys attached to the Fob which are lost or stolen, anywhere in the world. Cover includes locksmith charges, no excess applies and your no claims bonus will not be affected. The SmartFob will also enable you to locate your keys or find your phone via the your key fob or the SmartFob app.
Is the client covered if they don't download the SmartFob app?
Yes they are, as long as the fob is attached to the keys, they are covered.

What is the Excess Insurance policy and what does it cover?
Having a higher excess can often bring the annual cost of your motor insurance down. The downside of it is that in the event of an accident, you would be left out of pocket. Our Excess Insurance takes care of this and means that you can go for the higher excess and have that peace of mind that if an accident happens, you will be reimbursed for the excess.
There is no limit on the amount of claims you can claim for in the year, as long as the total amount of excess you're claiming for doesn't exceed the amount of your total cover. There are five levels of cover available to choose from:
- Level 1- £25 (up to £350 XS)
- Level 2- £30 (£351-£500 XS)
- Level 3- £40 (£501-£750 XS)
- Level 4- £45 (£751-£1000 XS)
- Level 5 £60 (£1001-£1500 XS)
Please do keep in mind that Excess Insurance won't cover you for Windscreen claims, and won't pay out for claims where the excess is higher than the claim amount.
