· Leased Vehicles: If the vehicle is owned and or registered by a vehicle leasing company, this is acceptable provided the lease is a minimum of 24 months

· New Car Replacement: if Ageas decide not to repair the vehicle in the 1st year and the proposer is the first and only registered keeper and provided the mileage at the time of purchase was less than 250 and the vehicle is damaged over 60%: a replacement car will be provided in lieu of repairs
· Protected NCD: 2 claims in a 3 year period.Reduced if 3 claims made within 3 years
· NCD: must have been earned on a UK private car policy in the last 2 years
· EU Use: Cover restricted to 90 days, but if needs increased please refer
· ROI Use: unlimited including commuting, however, if overnight stays are required then these cases should be referred to Ageas
· Residency: minimum 18 months UK residency
· Search Consent: must be answered Yes to obtain a quote
· Sun Roof Cover: covered under the windscreen section if made of glass

Temporary Substitution of Vehicles: Ageas will now allow a Temp SOV for up to 7 days at NIL AP for courtesy cars up to 1800cc provided by motor traders when the permanent car is in a garage for a service, repair or having an MOT test. To issue cover process via EDI selecting Temp Additional Vehicle. This will charge an AP, provided cover is for less than 7 days you may override the premium to £0 using override code ‘temp vehicle’. Electric vehicles must be treated as vehicles over 1800cc - SEE TABLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ARTICLE
If the private car supplied has an engine size of 1801cc or greater or is electric please use the below table to calculate the additional premium.
Any vehicle falling outside the above criteria should be referred to Ageas.
Please note that you must never amend the cover when adding a temporary vehicle as cover must always be Comprehensive.
Benefits/Extras
· Uninsured Driver Promise: if PH is hit by an uninsured driver and the PH obtains the vehicle & driver details then NCD will not be reduced and excess not taken
· 24hr claim line
· Replacement Child car seat cover up to £250 if the car is stolen or damaged as a result of fire
· Courtesy car will be supplied whilst own car being repaired at an approved repairer
· If the car cannot be driven after being damaged and Ageas have accepted the claim, onward journey will be provided subject to location or if the journey cannot be completed until the next day, overnight accommodation will be covered up to £50 per person (maximum £250)
· Manufacturers permanently fitted entertainment, navigational or audio equipment: covered up to standard manufacturer cost to replace
· Personal Belongings Cover for up to £150 per incident.
· Personal Accident cover for insured and partner up to £2500 in respect of death and up to £1500 in respect of permanent loss of use of eye, hand or foot. The maximum claim under this section per incident is £6000 with a limit of £3000 per person. NB Excludes Common law spouse By partner, we mean someone you’re in a personal
· relationship with – such as your husband, civil partner
· or wife, and not a business partner. (does now cover common law spouse)
· Replacement locks and keys cover for up to £750: NCD not affected if claim made under this section
